Scanning & Raster to Vector Conversion
The expanding use of digital cartographic basemaps in surveys for infrastructure works makes it necessary for analog maps to be converted to georeferenced digital maps of either vector or raster format.

In case of raster format, the analog map just needs to be scanned and georeferenced, whereas for vector format, it needs to be scanned and converted from raster to vector using the necessary raster to vector conversion tools.

Every year GEOMATICS performs a large number of analog maps scanning and vectorization and is therefore very experienced and productive in such applications. We can undertake the conversion of your drawings and maps into digital form, -vector or raster-, using large format cartographic scanners and raster to vector conversion tools.
